Beauties of Nature<\/strong><\/p>\n

The village of Vyzakia is rich in beauties. Wonderful colours, small and big pebbles, wild vegetation, as well as various cultivations compile a unique landscape.<\/p>\n

In particular, the southern slopes of Vyzakia are covered with pine trees and uncultivated pieces of land bearing wild vegetation, whereas the northern valley is covered with orchards and gardens. In fact, the landscape at the southern side of the village, where the Water Dam of Vyzakia is located, is of unique beauty.<\/p>\n

The cultivated pieces of land include vegetables, grains, pulses, citrus fruits, fruit-baring trees, olive trees, almonds and potatoes. On the other hand, the uncultivated pieces of land are mainly covered with spiny brooms, ladanum, thyme and other thorny plants, whereas the bank of the river \u201cElia\u201d is covered with oleander, reeds and eucalyptuses.<\/p>\n

Another gift given by nature to Vyzakia, according to Karouzis, are the pebbles found on the bank of the river \u201cElia\u201d, which ended up there thanks to the river and the ancient geological centuries.<\/p>\n

Finally, it must be mentioned that the greenery of the area is expected to increase thanks to the planned irrigation projects and the redistribution of land.<\/p>\n
